Vaccination campaign against hepatitis C

In a new achievement of its ongoing efforts to maintain the health of its members, the second dose campaign of the hepatitis B vaccination was successfully implemented on December 7, 2025 for students of the public and private college, in completion of the prevention program agreed upon in cooperation with the Preventive Medicine Department of the Beni Suef Health Directorate

This campaign came as a continuation of the generous support of Professor Dr. Tariq Ali, President of Beni Suef University, Professor Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. It was supervised in the field by Associate Professor Dr. Maha Abdel-Qawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
The vaccination campaign was attended and monitored by Professor Marwa Maarouf, the college secretary and administrative director, and Professor Tariq Mustafa Mahmoud, the college's deputy director. The day was distinguished by its high level of organization, thanks to the efforts of the Student Welfare Department and the full cooperation of student Khaled Farouk, president of the student union, and student Islam Shafter from the National  university, ensuring a smooth vaccination process
The second dose campaign was carried out with the active participation of the Preventive Medicine team at the Beni Suef Health Directorate, headed by Dr. Omnia Ahmed Hassan, Director of the Preventive Medicine Department. The team included the dedicated efforts of Dr. Shaimaa Salama, Preventive Medicine Director at the Beni Suef Health Administration, Ms. Afaf Radi, Ms. Yahya Tawfiq, Ms. Neama, and Ms. Manal from the supervisory and nursing staff

This initiative comes as part of the university's ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, reinforcing its role in supporting public health and preventing viral diseases among medical students. It also underscores the university's commitment to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all its members. In this context, the college announced the final booster dose of the vaccination program, scheduled to be administered five months after the second dose, to complete the students' preventative vaccination program
